Disposable vs. 510 Cartridges

We've always enjoyed bringing our rosin on-the-go with cartridges. Since the beginning Third Shift has used AVD ceramic 510 thread carts for their dependability, flavor, and quality.

When it came to a disposable, it took us much longer to find a unit that checks all the boxes we find necessary. After endless samples, we landed on these MaxCore disposable units made specifically for live rosin. They offer a dependable cartridge that we found leak-free and consistent in flavor. They are also rechargeable via the usb-c port.

The atomization element utilizes no cotton or metals in the process of vaporization.  Just a pure ceramic element that has 100 million micropores where the oil is actually atomized.  There’s no traditional coil either, the heat comes from a heating element that is sintered to the bottom of the porous ceramic structure.  There is no glue or adhesive found anywhere in these cartridges.

These carts have a slower pull to them, but the restriction on air flow saves you from a burned flavor. Despite the slow pull, these carts will rip when you hit them a few times and get them going. We're happy with the MaxCores, but will definitely keep 510's on the list for the foreseeable future. They both have a time to shine.
