What’s WPFF?

WPFF stands for Whole Plant Fresh Frozen. This means that as the plant is harvested, it’s trimmed efficiently and preserved as quickly as possible via deep freeze. This harvesting technique helps to better keep trichomes intact and terpenes fresh.

When harvesting, we work with as few plants as possible to reduce the time it takes to get the plant processed and in the freezer. When trimming WPFF buds, keep anything with frost - don’t over trim! Keep all the material you can, while stopping to chop down larger buds. Each piece should fit comfortably in a golf ball.

Fish tubs work great to store your trimmed WPFF while it reaches deep freeze, but take up a large amount of freezer space. Turkey bags work well too when space isn’t available. It’s most important that you get the material as cold as possible, as quickly as possible. Maintaining deep freeze during transport is also imperative. We recommend connecting a generator to your freezer for drop off.

These are our basic suggestions to help ensure your crop is properly prepared for processing. It takes correctly harvested, high quality material to create delicious hash.
